Volunteer

Today I went to Oozu to do a volunteer activity with Sayaka. We went to an institution of a mentally retarded person. In the morning, I got up at 5:30 because I have to take the train at 6:05. The train is the first train. It is hard for me to get up early, so I was sleepy. In the train, I met my high school friend. She went to college to prepare for the cultural festival. She is a Kumamoto prefectural university student. She will sell dumpling in the festival.
When I arrived at Oozu station, the bus was sent to pick me up. There are a lot of high school students. We set up a refreshment stand in the festival. We sell chow mein. It costs 250 yen. We ate a lot of food during we were free. For example, a waffle, a grilled chicken, takoyaki, sobameshi, and so on. They are cheap and delicious. There are many kind of refreshment stands, so I was irresolute. I was given 5 hundred yen’s worth of ticket. In addition, I bought 250 yen’s worth of ticket.
In the stage, elementary schoolchild were dancing and singing. And Kyuushuu nursing welfare university students were beating a drum. It was very cool.
At last, we did our best to sell all chow mein. We met Kamekichi. He often appears on TV and he is the today’s guest. We said to him, “Please buy chow mein.” But he didn’t buy it. He said, “I bought too much.” I was very said, I want him to buy it. We sell a lot of chow mein, and the total was about a hundred thousand yen. But 5 chow mein left unsold. Contrary to our expectations, a lot of chow mein was sold. So I was happy.
The festival broke up at 15:30. I was very tired, but I had a good time. I want to take part in a volunteer activity again.

BR 2-08: Frogs

I read “frogs”. This book is explained frogs. I don’t like frogs because they are very revolting. The worst animal is frogs. I have not liked frogs since I was a child. I often see frogs in the rainy season. So I don’t like the season. But I like the tadpoles. They start to change soon. First they grow back legs. Then they grow front legs. Their long tails shrink. Frogs are the amphibians. They can swim fast in the water, moreover hop around on land. I can understand frogs in the book. For example, all frogs need water to stay alive, but they don’t drink the water. Each week, they change their skin. The largest frog is as big as a cat. I was surprised at it. We often hear their singing. The male frogs sing to the females. After singing, the male and female frogs get into pairs. Then the female lays eggs in the water. I can find out more about frogs. I am not interested in frogs but it is easy for me to read the book. If you want to know frogs, please read it.

My favorite flower

I like flowers and my mother also likes flowers. So there are a lot of flowers in my house garden. It is very beautiful. She grows various flowers in the garden. For example, sunflower, tulip and so on. She waters the flowers in the garden every day. I like watching flowers but it is hard for me to water the flowers in the garden every day. I can relax whenever I watch the flowers. My favorite flower is a tulip. In spring the tulip come out. It is very beautiful and cute. I like a red tulip the best. It is getting colder and colder, so the flowers are wither. But I am looking forward to watching some flowers in spring.

November 5th

There are no classes today. I went to a hot spring in Tamana, because I can take the hot spring bath free of charge. Tamana is famous for a hot spring. There are many kind of hot springs in “Tsukasa no yu”. I felt very good so I want to go again. If you come to Tamana, please go to the hot spring.
After that, we went to eat lunch. We went to Chabudai. I have wanted to go there for a long time. The store looks very old on the outside, but the atmosphere is very good. I saw a goat and a dog. They are very cute. It is hot today, so they were basking in the sun. I ate unpolished rice set meal. It is very healthy. I ate an okara croquette, unpolished rice, miso soup, edible brown algae and so on. It is very good. I had a good time.

My favorite movie

My favorite movie is MAJOR. Do you know the movie? It is an animated film. I had the comic books and I read them every day. I was very happy because the comic book was made into a movie. I have liked the comic book since I was a junior high school student. I didn't like baseball. But I became to like baseball when I read the comic books. I will tell you about the story. The hero is Goro Shigeno who is a good baseball player. He is very cool. This movie is about his story. When he was an elementary school student, he played baseball every day. He likes it very much, but his arm was injured. After that, he overcame a lot of hardships, and he cultivated his friendship. I was impressed with the movie. Please watch the movie.

BR 2-07: Little Red Riding Hood

I read “Little Red Riding Hood”. Do you know the story? I think everyone know the story because it is famous all over the world. I like it very much. I read the story when I was a child, but I have never read it in English. So I want to read it in English.

A wolf ate Little Red Riding Hood’s grandmother. Then he went into bed to wait for Little Red Riding Hood. She said, “What big ears you have.” “What big eyes you have.” If I were she, I notice that it is not my grandmother without question. Her grandmother is very different from the wolf.

I read a lot of books such as “Little Red Riding Hood” when I was a child. But I seldom read books now, because I don’t have time and I don’t think I want to read books. However it is easy for me to read this book because I know this story. It is important to read books so I want to read books little by little. “Little Red Riding Hood” is very interesting and the illustration is very cute, so please read it.

BR 2-06: New Tricks

I read “New tricks”. This story is about Mick. He was terrible at remembering things. Fortunately, the wonderful Natalie remembered everything. She is Mick’s new assistant. Mick was going to perform at a magician’s show. He was also going to do two new tricks. The day of the show came. After the magic, the audience laughed. Mick was feeling really good, but he had a big mistake. He couldn’t remember anything, and the magician’s trick was exposed.

I like magic very much. Magic was popular when I was a junior high school student. Those days, I practiced a lot of magic such as card magic. But I also couldn’t remember anything like Mick. I forget everything. It is difficult for me to do trick, because I have to remember a lot of things. I want to do tricks. Do you do any magic? I want you to teach me some magic.
