To write essays is my achievement. It is difficult for me to write the essay because I have to write a lot of words. But my friends gave me some questions, so I can improve my essays. I think that the essay is good. I satisfied with it.

Facing Challenges
I challenged to post a lot of works on my blog in this semester. For example, typing homework, book reviews, essays and so on. I challenged to post more than 15000 words. I could write a lot of words. I achieve my aim, so I was happy.

A coming of age celebration
On January 10, a coming of age celebration was hold in my town. I got up early in the morning and I went to a dressing room. When I arrived at there, I met my junior high school friends. They are so beautiful. I wear a red long sleeved kimono. It is too tight so I was tired. It was difficult for me to walk with a long sleeved kimono. And I put on makeup. I wear false eyelashes. It took about 2 hours. Then I went to a hall. I met a lot of people there. I was very excited and I took a lot of pictures. Also, I talked with my teachers. They were in charge of my class. It had been five years since I saw them last. We talked about a lot of memory. I had a good time. The coming of age celebration was start at 2:30. The most interesting thing is video letters. Some teachers of my junior high school gave us some messages. Mr. Sonoda was in charge of my class when I was 3rd grade of junior high school. He taught us English. His English class was very interesting. I want to be an English teacher like him in the future.
At night, I went to a meeting of an alumni association. It was held at Arao. About 70 people gathered. A lot of people changed so I didn’t know who they are. I hadn’t eaten food since in the morning. So I was very hungry. I ate a lot of foods and drank beer. Some friends were singing to a karaoke. I was very laughing. The meeting finished at 10:00. Then we went to a game center. We hold a continuation of a party at another place. It was interesting but I was very tired. Then I went to my friend home. And I talked about a lot of things. I was very sleepy but I enjoyed. I want to wear the long sleeved kimono again.

Time capsule
On January 8, I went to an elementary school to dig up a time capsule. I went there at 9:00. It was very cold because we buried it in the shade. When I graduated the elementary school, I buried it. I am looking forward to seeing it. When we dig up it, the content keeps clear. I bury a lot of things such as pictures, letters, name card and so on. The composition was written about memories of elementary school. I wrote about a school excursion. Also, I found calligraphy. I wrote a poor hand when I was an elementary school student. I used my brush for the first time in the every New Year. I was very ashamed. I look back on it with nostalgia. And I wrote a letter to me. I had bad handwriting. I wrote my dream in the letter. When I was an elementary school student, I wanted to be a designer. It is different from now. Then I looked at pictures. They are very cute and young. There are about 20 friends and some teachers. But I did not meet a teacher who was in charge of my class. Because she is in foreign country now. I want to meet her some day. Then I come in the class room. There are a lot of desks and chairs. They are very small. I thought I grow up. I was happy because I hadn’t seen them for a long time. I want to go back to an elementary school.

Essays 2-03b: My University Life
I will tell you about my university life now. I go to the university every day. My university life is very busy but I enjoy it very much. There are a lot of happy and hard things in my university life. But I like the university very much because there are a lot of reasons.
First of all, I will tell you about my studying English. The environment is very good because there are a lot of good teachers and friends in this university. I have a lot of classes such as Japanese history, American literature, psychology, a teacher-training course and so on. I am interested in them. And I study English very hard for my dream. I want to be an English teacher in the future. So I study English every day. For example, I listen to the English radio every night. It is so difficult for me to study English. I want to improve my English skill. So I study English more. In addition I have to do my homework and write a report. So I am very busy now, but I do my best. If I had more time, I want to learn other languages such as Chinese, Korean, German and so on.
Second of all, I will tell you about my friends. There are a lot of friends in the university. I can meet them every day. They are very kind to me. I can enjoy talking with them. For example, my favorite things, food, love, studying and so on. My favorite time in the university is to talk with my friends. To talk them makes me happy. I am always laughing when I talk with them. I have lunch with them every day. When I was trouble, they help me. At first, I was worried whether I can make friends because there are a lot of people who I didn’t know. But we made friends soon. I was very glad to make friends them.
Finally, I will tell you about the institutions. At first, I was very surprised because this university is larger than I expected. There are a lot of good institutions in the university. For example, library, a student’s dining hall, bakery and so on. They are very comfortable because there are air conditioners. My favorite place in the university is bakery. There are many kind of bread are sold. For example, bagel, curry bun, melon bun, pizza and so on. I often go there to buy lunch. They are delicious. My favorite loaf is bagel. Recently new loaves are sold. I have never eaten them so I want to try them.
Also I like library because I can read a lot of books, magazines and newspapers. And I can do some research by various things. I often go to the library when I don’t have a class. Whenever I go there, I do my homework or study English. The library is comfortable so I can concentrate in there. Also, I can watch DVD in the library. Recently, I am busy so I don’t watch DVD. I want to DVD if I had a lot of time.
As you can see, I enjoy my university life now. I am living a comfortable life. I want to study hard more and I want to enjoy my university life. I don’t want to regret my life. I want to make a lot of good memories before I graduate from the university. So I will do my best for the dream in my university life.

New Year's resolutions
My New Year’s resolution is to study English hard. I am not good at speaking English so I want to speak English fluently. I am going to study English every day. Also I want to work hard. Last year I could not earn much money. So I want to save money. I will do my best.
